APPLICATION

Applicants must be between the ages of 16–24.

RYP Ambassadors are young leaders who mentor and support younger youth, contribute to program and event delivery, and continue developing their own leadership skills through RYP.

Applicants should submit answers to the application questions below.

1. Why do you want to become an RYP Ambassador, and what do you hope to contribute to RYP?

2. What strengths, skills or experiences would you bring to your role as an RYP Ambassador?

3. RYP Ambassadors mentor and support younger youth. What does being a positive role model and mentor mean to you?

4. Tell us about a time you demonstrated leadership, teamwork or responsibility. What did you learn from the experience?

5. What do you believe youth from the African Diaspora need to thrive, build confidence and realize their potential? How could you contribute to that through RYP?

6. RYP programming and events require Ambassadors to be dependable and actively involved. Please describe your availability and the level of commitment you can make to RYP.
