ReGeneration Youth Ambassadors


The Realize Your Potential Youth Society (RYP) is looking for Youth Ambassadors to serve on the Youth Ambassador Committee (YAC). The position is open to students and young professionals between the ages of 16-24. If you are looking for a chance to become a leader of positive change in your community here is your chance! Students in the program who are graduating high school seniors or college undergraduates enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution; receive scholarships to further their education in the schools of their choice. The Spring Forward awards ranged from $1,000 to $5,000, and funds supported tuition, room, board, and books.

Role Description:

As a youth ambassador you play a vital role at RYP. Ambassadors make up the YAC and help executive leaders learn about current youth affairs, help build the RYP society and participate in the New Life™ programs. There are a variety of ambassador roles, chosen ambassadors will be assigned to roles by the Youth Ambassador Lead and Programs Manager.


  • Communicate in respectful, empathetic, and non-judgmental ways
  • Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Organizational, research and general administrative task skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Recognizes and understands the current challenges faced by black youth
  • Ability to think critically
  • Leadership and Youth Advisory Committee experience an asset

Availability: 1-2 hours Wednesday and Saturday
